ROUTES
The three ultra-style challenges at Luna share the same route, which is made up of four loops: Green, Blue, Red and Black. The loops range from 3 to 8 miles and total up to 20 miles.
The half marathon and 10km will take in different parts of these loops to make the distances.
All loops start and finish within the Event Village.
The loops are all on beautiful and challenging trails through mediaeval woodland and expansive fields

How to run
relay or solo
Ultra (solo) runners will run at the same time as our teams. Teams can be from 2-10 people for The 24HR or 2-6 people for The Weekender and Dawn til Dusk.
Run the loops you want, in the order you want, when you want.
Take a break and start again when you want.
It's all about how far you or your team can run in the time allowed ... and how much fun you can have.
Please note, the half marathon and 10km are not relay or team events.

How to run
at night
Running in the middle of the night is amazing but it can come with some obvious stress and concerns.
There will also be hundreds of you out on the loops at the same time, so it is very unlikely that there won’t be a light ahead to follow. Plus, our team will always be on duty!
It is mandatory for all runners who will be running at night to wear a head torch and high viz during night time hours.
The Official Guide will contain all of this information in full.
We will be using reflective signage and will be marking the course at regular intervals. It will be very difficult to get lost - i.e. you will have to go to great efforts to get yourself lost!
Experience running when the stars are out, without the stress!

Event Village & Camping
Eridge Park is miles away from busy roads and there is very little light pollution so a night in peace and quiet under the stars beckons.
One night of camping is included for runners taking on The 24HR, Dawn til Dusk or The Weekender and a second night can be purchased. Half marathoners and 10km runners will need to purchase camping if they wish to stay over.
Experience a weekend away in stunning surroundings - you can even bring friends and family.

What's the goal?
For the ultra-style challenges, simply build up as many miles as you can in the timeframe.
AND... have a great time in a beautiful setting, with great people, making friends and having fun.
The number of miles you achieve puts you on the road to Gold, Silver or Bronze medals. We will be awarding medals based on how far your team covers according to solo or team size.

Celebrate
When the time is up, and the miles are done, reflect and celebrate your amazing achievement in the Event Village with fellow runners, friends and family.
You probably just did something you never would have done alone - whether that’s number of miles run, running off-road miles from nowhere, running at 3am in the woods, or racing through a field wearing a glow-in-the-dark tutu.
Five events to choose from
The three ultra-style challenges can be run solo or as a team. They all cost the same per runner, to enter.
The half marathon and 10km are individual entries with a start at either 9am or 9pm.
